Bar with Star appeal should have a sweet sale

The Star Bar is known as a sports and live music bar, with a price guide of €275,000.

Newly up for sale in Rathmore, Co Kerry, is a bar and Chinese restaurant, on the Killarney-Mallow road at Rathmore near the train station.

Twelve miles from Killarney, it’s got good employment on its doorstep, says auctioneer Billy Hennigan, citing c 1,000 jobs at Munster Joinery, and a further 150 at the Cadbury factory, which manufactures crumb from dairy products for use in chocolate making.
