Agents line out for UK buyers

Returned value in the Irish property market has seen a marked increase in UK buyers for properties nationwide, according to Real Estate Alliance, who are about to embark on a London property fair: handily, the date happens to fall on the same day that Ireland face England at Twickenham in the Six Nations rugby championship.

REA’s most recent survey suggests a 39% growth in Irish property sales to UK-based purchasers in 2013. Furthermore, members said that 20% of their overall property enquiries last year came from the UK — realising an average of 13% of overall sales logged.
