Two acres with planning permission for 16 houses are for sale in Killarney.

A test of demand, and confidence, in Killarney’s new-homes market comes along on the town’s Ross Road. It’s a popular location, near the lakes and with restricted development, so the chance to buy two acres near the racecourse, with full planning permission for 16 houses, will be keenly watched.

Estate agent, Tom Spillane, says the planning is for eight pairs of semis, about 1,250 sq ft each, and he bills the setting as “premium.” The price is 350,000, or 20,000 per house stand, and quality new stock could sell in the 170k to 190k price bracket.
