Second chance for The Pinnacles
There’s a touch of deja vu, and deja viewings, for Midleton estate agent Shay Cronin of Cronin Wall, as he brings No 9 The Pinnacles to market.
The auctioneer had No 12 in this scheme of quality detached homes new to market back in November, guiding €420,000, and it viewed extremely well, and got strong bids too — until the vendor took it off the market due to work commitments, as she had been planning a major renovation on a different purchase.
Now that No 9 in the same scheme has come along, at a lower asking price, there should be a quick flurry of interest and comparative viewings. While the three-storey houses are broadly similar in external looks, they’ve got different layouts: adapted No 12 had been made a four-bed/five bath by its owner, whereas No 9 has the more standard builder’s layout of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, with good-sized ground floor rooms (mostly floored in solid maple) in an open, flowing layout. The main living room is a whopping 20’ by 20’, with four windows across the front of the house, and there’s also a dining room, and kitchen with cream units and island.
Shay Cronin says it has been very well finished and kept, and there’s the option to buy it furnished, while the back garden is fully walled-in, with maturing landscaping and shed. There are 17 houses in The Pinnacles, within a walk of the rail station at Broomfield, and the town centre’s a bit away.
