Ex-cellent opportunity at Exham

There’s still a community feel to much of Cork city’s venerable South Parish — though new arrivals are welcome too.
A modern interloper in the mix of Georgian-era interlopers is Exham Place, part of a series of 1990s townhouses built around the site of the old PMPA garage on Margaret Street, just off the higgledly-piggledy Georges Quay, home to bars, shops, coffee shops (like the new, aficionado-friendly coffee haunt called Filter) and more. And, it’s got the equally random Douglas Street just to the south, past the 1766-built St Finbarr’s South Church, the city’s oldest Catholic place of worship.
