Spacious property in horse-owning countryside

The property is planted right around the four acres
WHAT’S in a name? Given the size and scale of the private houses on big sites out this Douglas/Rochestown side of Cork, you might expect an upwardly-mobile name to be attached to the area, the likes of a Wisteria Lane, or a Hawthorn Downs. But, no, in a rather self-deprecating way, locals are happy enough to call it Horses**t Lane, because there’s nothing at all wrong with horses**t — it’s a sign at least the horses are being fed.
