Impressive land quoted at just €10,000 an acre

A bit of a hardy annual at this stage, the Ballymacus/ Rathmore land at Kinsale, has nevertheless some of the best farmland in the country.

And the tillage ground which was accumulated as part of 400-acre, international resort is now back on the market again, as a tentative sale to a large industrial manufacturer has folded.

And this time round joint agents Christy Buckley and Sheila O’Flynn of Sherry FitzGerald are quoting a very reasonable €10,000 per acre for the land, which has some of the best tillage ground in the south.

Comprising 270 acres in a stunning coastline position outside of Kinsale, the farm is in two townlands, Ballymacus and Rathmore, and is laid out in one large block and bisected into three main holdings by rural roads.

For sale by private treaty and preferably in one block, the joint agents are open to any option, however, and at the attractive guide price should have a lot of interest from farmers.

The lands have excellent road frontage, good accessibility and proximity to Kinsale and Cork city and are suitable for any purpose, they say.
