Style and location proves size isn’t everything
The two-storey, two-up, one and a bit down home is close to Evergreen Street, which gives a handy run towards UCC, while the city centre’s even closer, via Douglas Street and Parkowen.
The ground floor at No 29 is mostly open plan, with a front living room leading via a dining space to a galley kitchen, and on to a narrow rear annexe with shower room.
The living room is fairly compact, and has an open cast iron fireplace in situ — so be prepared to swelter. There’s also gas heating.
The back patio/yard faces south and so is a bright outdoor space, says Johnny O’Flynn of Sherry FitzGerald, who adds that Quaker Road has a nice charm to it, while No 29 probably has one of the best interiors on the street.
VERDICT: A neat wee package, in a super-handy location, all done up inside and ready to move into, for about the price of an apartment.
