Trading up: WELL ROAD, CORK €500,000-plus

THE detached Douglas, Cork home Caragh on the salubrious Well Road may now be inched closer to a tempting sale, thanks to a further price drop designed to get a deal struck and new owners in the door.

The site’s the star here, with views over Douglas estuary and with the Mahon golf club’s manicured greenery backing up to the end of the long back garden.

VERDICT: The location is top-notch in Cork terms. It’s a box-ticker at a discounted price, as it is detached, has water and golf course views, within a short walk of Douglas village, schools, shops and more.
