Energy efficiency key at An Radharc Fada

A west Cork bungalow adds a few twists and turns to deviate from the norm and add some interest, writes Tommy Barker

THE owners of the An Radharc Fada took the long-term view when they built this west Cork home — they built it for energy efficiency, views and comfort.

Designed by a British architect, and sited near Rearinagh north of Skibbereen, it takes the traditional Irish bungalow form and mass — and puts a few twists and a kink into it.
