A chance to put down roots at The Alders

THE remaining houses in the leafy, Castlejane Woods scheme at Glanmire, Co Cork are being reduced to sell, says Robert O’Keeffe of Irish and European.

And there could be a little wriggle-room too on the stated guides which are now at an all-time low.

With an increasing scarcity of houses near the city the larger, three-bed semis in the wooded estate should prove attractive at €220,000 with 1,024 square feet of space and a split-level interior.

Developed by local builders, O’Mahony Developments, the scheme is now complete with eight units remaining.

O’Keeffe says they’re looking to sell the last houses in The Alders and adds that the finished condition of the estate is an added attraction for buyers.

“Castlejane is a beautiful park that has retained many of its old trees.

“There are sizeable green areas within the park and the area is very popular with walkers. The majority of the homes are owner-occupied.”

Two-bed units, with a mix of end and mid-terrace houses are on offer at €165,00 and €175,000 and offer 772 sq ft of space.

Larger, mid-terrace houses with 842 square feet are available at €200,000 and there are show houses open for appointment, adds O’Keeffe.
