Location, location, location

BACK in 2008, a four-bed semi on the Melbourne Road in Cork city went on the market at €525,000 and now, two years later, a large detached house in the same general location hits the market with a guide price of €585,000.

A four to five bed house with an attached, converted garage, No 13 Fremont Drive has scope for more space in an attic conversion. It’s on the market with Garry O’Donnell of ERA Downey McCarthy who says an awful lot of work has gone into its renovation:

“It’s had a new kitchen installed and the garage has been converted with the guest bathroom turned into a wet room and the main bathrooms have been re-fitted,” he says.
