Location, location, location
A four to five bed house with an attached, converted garage, No 13 Fremont Drive has scope for more space in an attic conversion. It’s on the market with Garry O’Donnell of ERA Downey McCarthy who says an awful lot of work has gone into its renovation:
“It’s had a new kitchen installed and the garage has been converted with the guest bathroom turned into a wet room and the main bathrooms have been re-fitted,” he says.
The garage conversion functions as an en suite ground floor bedroom, with four more bedrooms, including master en suite on the first floor.
At ground level, a lot of the rooms are more open plan, he says, with a turkey finish, something you don’t always get with these ‘70s vintage houses.
O’Donnell says he’s open to sensible offers in the region of €585,000 and expects strong interest because of the location in the heart of Cork’s university quarter.
