Emigration sales on the up

EMIGRATION sales can be seen as a weather vane for a grassroots view of the future of the economy.

So far, it’s been the merest trickle, possibly because vendors have waited out the slump in case of improvement, but following next December’s budget, that trickle could turn into a river.

Families moving abroad are selling up. For some, it’s a necessity, but for others, it’s the opportunity to check out a different lifestyle.
