Sites to behold as Cork house deals hit market

HOUSES with adjoining sites are on offer in two Cork locations. It seems you’ll now get a house plus site for what the house alone might have fetched four years ago.

Near UCC and the Wilton Shopping Centre in Cork city’s western suburbs, the end of terrace house, 7 Liam Lynch Park, Glasheen Road comes for sale with a change of status beckoning: by the time you build on the side, you’ll have turned the three-bed end terrace (effectively a semi) into a mid terrace, as the new build will be joined on to it.

Each is/will be about 1,000 sq ft, with three bedrooms, and there’ll be sufficient garden space left over for each, says estate agent Brian Olden of Cohalan Downing.
