More for less in Pairc na gCrann

“THE developer didn’t sit on his hands, here,” says the selling agent of the last four houses in the Glanworth village’s Pairc na gCrann — he’s gone large, for less.

Just four units are now left in the 45-unit north Cork scheme and for the last buyers to jump they’ll get extra sized four bedroomed homes, for around the original price of a three-bed smaller semi-d.

All the services, green areas, paths, lighting, etc, are in situ. And for the last push, developers Fourcon took some of their remaining 1,176 sq ft three bed semi-d types, added on a rear sun room, paved the patio with granite slabs and also converted the attic space to make for a fourth bedroom, and, says auctioneer Darragh Taaffe of KMS, they ended up with two 1,660 sq ft offerings, for €225,000.

Also left to sell are the three-bed 1,176 sq ft showhouse, at €195,000, and a four-bed 1,650 sq ft four-bed detached, at €232,500. All have C1 BERs.
