They’ve dropped almost €100k in asking price, now down to a super-low €195,000, from early last year, says estate agent Donal Collins of Global Properties, who adds that at market peak similar homes here were making €330,000.

With three good bedrooms and smart living space, No 12 is private at the back, overlooking a wooded area, and is set in a cul de sac. Murnane and O’Shea were the builders and the house is in pristine decorative order, says Mr Collins.
