Design with a modern slant
A short haul out of Limerick, off the much-improved Ennis/Galway highway and down a byway, this 4,500 sq ft home, with Bunratty and Shannon estuary views, is a new market arrival for a trading-down vendor.
Built 15 years ago, on a site owned by the family since the late 1980s, the well-divided, three-storey, modern home is on a heavily planted site of more than an acre and a half, with two entrances and possible scope on a portion for a smaller second home, subject to planning permission. Selling agent for the five-bedroomed, five-bathroom house is Lisa Kearney, of Rooney’s, in Limerick city, ten miles away, who says it is in very good decorative condition. With the input of two architects, it has a smart layout with living space in the middle level, entered from a side hall door by the drive, and three of the main bedrooms are privately set on the top floor, with one en-suite, a main family bathroom, and views to the west toward the Shannon from a Juliet-style balcony off the master suite.
