Realistic price for west Cork bungalow

Auctioneer Martin Swanton says the house is in very good condition, and the area highly sought-after, with views down over Roaringwater Bay.

The mid 1900s two-bed bungalow, with detached garage, is on half an acre with electric storage heating, plus an open tiled fireplace in the main 15’ by 12’ living room, which has a large picture window on one wall, and two narrower ones on the gable. The main bedroom has a similar dual aspect, with twin gable windows and a south-facing patio door.

The price level is good for a detached private home in such a setting, says Mr Swanton, and the property has several future extension options given its orientation and shape.
