HOPING for a scrum of buyers is Gerard O’Dea, the selling agent for No 13 Highfield Lawn, on Cork city’s suburban Model Farm Road.

The area — complete with good schools and a rugby club kicking under the Highfield name — is always a strong seller, and in recent years had seen residential values soar as inner suburbs climbed higher in price than more outlying areas.

Now, Mr O’Dea of Downing Commercial seeks €340,000 for the three/four-bed semi-d at No 13 on Highfield Lawn, a spot which now needs a bit of upgrading and further spending.
