Berlingford home in need of some modernisation

Berlingford is just off Church Road in Cork’s Blackrock suburb, and almost immediately to hand is Blackrock Hurling Club, home of the Rockies, with sibling club St Michael’s catering for footballers.

Within a walk are the Marina, a tennis club, Blackrock village’s cafe and shop and castle, as well as a SuperValu, Mahon Point Shopping Centre, and burgeoning new employment bases like City Gate, Mahon. About 1,600 jobs will be based at CityGate by next spring when a private hospital opens up, alongside the VHI Swift Care Clinic and the relocated offices for IT security company McAfee.
