From €2m price to just €950,000, Bridelands is your perfect match

A DRAMATIC slashing in price, by more than 50%, may find a new, long-term partner for Bridelands House. Down from an aspirational €2m, in September, 2007, it had, at one stage in the last year, gone ‘sale agreed’ at €1.3m, but that was subject to the sale of another property.

Now, agents Sherry FitzGerald, in Cork city, have more than halved the initial asking price, seeking €950,000 for the real deal period home, 14 miles west of Cork city on the Macroom-Killarney road.

This huge drop in price should bring a cohort of buying interest, and, perhaps, rekindle the interest of those who might have looked at it two years ago, but wouldn’t stretch to the price sought.
