Attractions of the property ladder add well-located house to market
“We’ve done everything we can to it in the past 10 years, since we bought it, and now there’s nothing else to do. We’re bored,” admits the woman who says her own friends call her Cork’s ‘Sarah Beeny,’ she of British Property Ladder house renovation and market advice TV series.
Lucy Wolfe, and her husband Alan Burke, have three children — a boy and two girls, ages seven, four and two years old — all coming along nicely too, in tandem with the housework, and clearly have excess energy to burn. Hence their need to get stuck into another house project. “Alan bought me a seven-seater car and I joke that I’ll have no problem filling it unless we’ve something else to fill in the time. And, it’s not a bad time either to be looking for a do-er upper once we sell,” she reckons more practically.
