Few houses in the Co Cork area can say they date back to the 18th century, but Shanagore Lodge has a long history.

Located outside of Innishannon (but within commuting distance of the city), this secluded and snug house dates from 1760 and was the gate lodge to the now, long gone, Shanagore House, built by the Sheare family.
