TV holiday homes go on show this weekend

AS seen on the telly....showhouses at the Copper Point holiday home development in Schull, west Cork, go on public show this weekend.

Shown last week on RTE’s Showhouse design challenge series, the holiday homes development of 55 units will be completed in June.

Fifteen sales have been agreed, say the selling agents and developers the Walsh Group, also selling with local agents James Lyons O’Keeffe.

Prices for the high-end houses in the coastal village – with marina plans – range from two-beds at €395,000 to€550,000. Design is by Kiosk Architects, there are 12 variations, and the interior design challenge houses were done by Simon Paul of Designer’s Library, and Valerie Hogan, voted the programme’s challenge winner. Show units, including two done last summer, are open this weekend, 2pm to 5pm.
