Price sea change may hook buyer

THE price drop seems huge — but the truth is it might have been a bit too pricey in the first place.

A year ago, the immaculately turned-out Cove Cottage on Ballycotton’s Church Road went up for sale, hoping for offers around €650,000. They didn’t come: the declining property market had its say, and it sung dumb.

Now, with a revised asking price of €395,000, there may well be a chorus of interest, and bids even. That’s the hope of agents Property Partners Burke Wall, who say it is a quality package, with lots of extra elements.
