Knockdown sale in commute range

AUCTIONEER Jeremy Murphy is at pains to point out that a new development at Coppeen, Co Cork, is only 30 minutes from Cork city — he’s clocked it.

Cois Muileann is a scheme of just three detached houses, one of which is built and ready to view through Jeremy Murphy and Associates.

Prices start at a very reasonable €325,000 for properties ranging from 2,200 to 2,400 sq ft.

It’s a knockdown sale, says Murphy, who’s working on behalf of Totus Developments, a firm who have a track record of development in Roscarbery, Ardfield, Clonakilty and other areas of west Cork.

The houses stand on a half-acre site each and are traditional in style with a one-and-a-half storey layout and sunroom projections.

They’re all different so buyers have a choice of styles. Each unit will come with kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces and wardrobes.

As with all new house sales at the moment, there’s scope to strike a bargain with finish, as builders are more than willing to complete to buyers’ specifications.

Other standard fittings include a pressurised water system, central vacuum, Stira to the attic, tarmac driveway and landscaped grounds.
