AIMED squarely at the upper end of Tralee’s property market is Radharc na Mara, a small estate of just four houses at the Kerries.

Just released through agent Micheal Daly of Property Partners Daly O’Sé, the stone and slate properties were designed by architect Brendan O’Connell and are a Skellig Builders development.

Prices for these large, four and five-bed detached homes start at €850,000, which reflects the size, quality and location of the scheme, according to Michael Daly.

The innovation, compared to other schemes, is the use of triple-glazed windows, high tech doors and pumped insulation for high U-values. Geothermal zoned heating is standard and the houses are wired for sound, satellite and broadband.

Decorative spec includes the use of oak stairs and internal joinery and extensive light fittings and lighting into the garden.

House type one has an area of 303 square metres, while the larger type has 311 square metres.

Radharc na Mara, as the name suggests, has views over Tralee Bay, Blennerville Windmill, the Maharees and the Sliabh Mish mountains.

The houses are also close to Tralee golf club, regarded as one of the best courses in the country, and designed by Arnold Palmer.
