AN architect’s hand is evident in the design of number four, Woodlands, an early 1970s, four-bedroomed family home in Cork city’s Frankfield.

Fresh thinking went into these houses’ layout, and lots of windows bring in loads of light.... very 2000s, in fact. Owned by the same family since 1973, number four is selling for €545,000, via Johnny O’Flynn, of Sherry FitzGerald.

The detached, 2,000 sq ft house is on a large site, has an attached garage and should have wide appeal for traders-up with a few more euro to spend on customising it.
