Good old days back

CROWDS of people turned up last weekend for the showhouse opening of the Lavallin development in Whitechurch, Co Cork.

This mixed-scheme saw 30 of a total of 45 houses sold in the first phase and, according to Robert Harkin of Countrywide Homes, it was like the good old days:

“There must have 500 people through the showhouses on Saturday and Sunday — it was like two years ago in the height of the boom.”
