Toe Head homes offer contrasting options

BELIEVE it or not, west Cork has also been affected by the property slump, so now is the time to pick up that second or retirement property.

There are two houses on Toe Head available, and while one comes under the title of ‘here’s one I prepared earlier’, the second is the real farmhouse deal.

Number one is called the Yellow House and it’s at Lickowen, Toe Head. A madeover farmhouse, it’s three miles from Castletownshend and five miles from Skibbereen, and it has two sandy beaches locally — Trá na Dhugh and Trá na Gach.
