Developers Murryford, with John Collins builder, are rolling out the mix of houses, all with generous extras in the mix, just north of the town, with south facing views overlooking the Bandon river valley.
Calling card for next weekend’s launch (they decided to skip All Ireland final weekend) is the four-bed detached house, with a show unit open right by the site’s entrance. Other types include three and four-bed semis, and three-storey, four-bedroomed townhouses. Design is by James Leahy architects.
Joint agents are Lisney new homes, based in Cork city but with Bandon native Mark Kelly on site, and local agents are Twomey Crowley who say the value, finish and proximity to Bandon via Convent Hill will draw buyers and commuters.
Prices start at €315,000, for a three-bed townhouse of 950 sq ft, three-bed semis are € 325,000, four-bed semis are €365,000 and detached four-beds are €450,000, or €470,000 with a sun room.
Extras at this level include full kitchens with integrated appliances including dishwasher, oven, hob, extract, washing machine and tumble dryer and fridge freezer.
House are pre-wired for entertainment systems, and for alarms, and will have zoned gas heating. Build finish is excellent, sites are being landscaped with rail sleepers, master bedrooms are en suite and there’s a choice of fireplaces.
