Bungalow should benefit from Amgen property boost

THE official opening was postponed, but Amgen’s recent purchase of 16 acres close to its proposed €1 billion facility has given a shot of optimism to local and other contenders for the proposed 1,100 jobs being created.

Bungalow should benefit from Amgen property boost

With this in mind house prices in the area should retain strong values and this week, auctioneer Anthony O’Regan is launching a brand new property at Tattan’s Glen, close to the Amgen site.

A 2,000 square foot bungalow, it comes with a builder’s finish and includes a 323 square foot garage.

Three miles north of Carrigtwohill, in Dooneen townland, the property offers plenty of space for families.

On a triangular, one-third of an acre site, the property will need a kitchen, fireplace, tiling and flooring, but it comes with a lawned and tarmac finish, as well as that double garage.

Room sizes are very generous and the total area is divided into a living room, dining room, conservatory, kitchen and utility at the living end, with four bedrooms and a main bathroom on the other. The master bedroom also comes ensuite.

The guide price is in the region of €575,000 through Keane Mahony Smith.
