Design conference in Cork

THE nation’s obsession with property and home improvement will be incorporated into a conference on domestic architecture and the built environment in Cork this month.

The National Sculpture Factory are hosting des/IRE, designing houses for contemporary Ireland, and are offering a competition to the public as part of the lead up to the seminar on May 24 and 25.

The home improvement competition is being funded by artist, Sarah Browne, who has been commissioned to create a project for the event.
