ARCHITECT-designed in the 1970s, Redwood is a detached family home of 2,000 sq ft, on a 0.8 acre site, and with scope galore.

Distinctively styled and spacious, its 30-year-old design means that it missed out on the Noughties’ penchant for light and space so it lacks a little in internal light.

But that’s easily fixed by widening the windows and making some other small changes that would transform the dated interior. According to estate agent Tom Woodward, there’s a good deal of living space in Redwood and loads to work with. “I’d love to do it myself; you can really see the possibilities here,” he says.
