Incomplete harbour house ready for sale

ABOUT 90% there is the finish state of 9 Ard Cuain, a big dormer bungalow on a quarter-acre Cork Harbour site.

About 16 houses sites comprise the Ard Cuain development, up above Passage West at Marmullane by the old orphanage, and the builder of No 9 has previously finished off a neighbouring house here.

However, he is looking to sell No 9 “in need of completion”. It has a €750,000 asking price via agent Conor Smith of ERA Downey McCarthy Murphy, who estimates that there’s another €100,000 to see it through to a uniform high standard.
