Take your pick from 2,000 new homes

COMPARISONS don’t get much more inviting than the chance to weigh up the attractions of over 2,000 new houses up for sale.

Eight member firms, covering 12 offices of the Sherry FitzGerald countrywide agency, are to display their respective and competing wares under the one exhibition roof next week aimed at those seeking to buy new in 2007.

The wide range of newly-built, and under construction homes, will range from townhouses priced from €220,000 to over €800,000. Schemes featured range from a development of just 12 houses to a massive 1,000 house scheme in Mallow.

The Sherry FitzGerald event will take in offices in North Cork, East Cork and South Cork, aimed at both commuters working in Cork city and those seeking to locate, work and live in the county’s wide range of well-serviced towns and smaller villages.

It runs Wednesday and Thursday next, January 17 and 18, in the Silver Springs Moran Hotel in Cork at 6 to 9.30 pm each evening.

The organiser says the exhibition “will show people that there is good value in the country towns and villages, with houses on show starting from €220,000 upwards.”
