Just nine properties in quiet Ashdale

TEN minutes from Midleton, but far from the madding crowd in the quiet village of Cloyne, is Beausang Construction’s latest scheme, Ashdale.

A low, low density development, there are nine houses here. It also eschews the semi and has detached bungalows and two-storeys on offer.

Dressed in the current hot colours of grey-white and grey and with tinted aluminium windows, the houses are distinctively designed, says Billy Casey of Casey and Kingston.

Prices start at €315,000 for a detached, three-bed bungalow just under 1,000 sq ft, and the two-storey types with 1,325 sq ft of space hit the market at €365,000. The larger, four-bedroomed house at €1,539 sq ft has an asking price of €405,000, which makes them very reasonable by city standards. The houses comes with PC sums for fireplaces, wardrobes and tiling.
