Mallow homes easy to access

Rose Martin looks at four new luxury show homes on view this weekend.

SLEEK new showhouses for the Clonmore scheme at Ballyviniter, Mallow open this weekend from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm and there are four different units to view.

The development offers a mix of house types, from four-bedroomed detached properties to three-bed semis at the attractive starting price of €292,000.

The largest, detached properties start at €420,000 and three-bed, detached houses will be pitched at €390,000. Four-bed semis start at €318,000 and three-bed semis come with a price tag of €290,000.

Stephen Dunne is the interior designer for the four show homes on view and each one will offer a different style — but with a similar, luxurious finish.

“Clonmore is convenient to everything in Mallow”, says joint agent, Paul Reid of Sherry FitzGerald. “The Market Square Shopping Centre is literally on the doorstep”, he says, and has Dunnes Stores as the anchor tenant. The main street of Mallow has excellent fashion shopping with a Tesco supermarket close by.

Accessibility is going to be the key selling point for the O’Flynn Construction scheme, as the town has a rail and road link to Cork city and prices are considerably lower than city offerings.

There has been a large influx of new residents to Mallow in the last three years, and with the choice of properties on offer at Clonmore, that trend looks set to continue.

“Mallow is now one of the busiest towns in Munster,” says joint agents, Sherry FitzGerald O’Donovan and it comes with great amenities including the racecourse, sporting facilities, a new cinema complex, and Mallow Golf Club.
