This derelict stone farmhouse, three miles on the Bantry side of Kilcrohane, on the scenic Sheep’s Head in west Cork, comes up for sale with a price tag of €500,000 with estate agent Henry O’Leary Property Partners.

The fact it is on 8.5 acres of land, elevated with sweeping bay views, is what gives it its real value, says the agent, who is prepared to sell subject to planning permission for a refurbishment/new house.
