Cork hurler Seán Óg Ó Hailpín hugely helped to get the Liam McCarthy cup home to Cork last Sunday in the epic ‘re-match’ with Kilkenny, where Cork won through to its record 29th title and stopped Kilkenny’s run towards three titles in a row.

And, now, the fast-moving player has his own home to go to and a mortgage to tackle.
