THE price of a dormer-type home with views out over Crew Bay in West Cork has dipped to come in line with the cooler winter market for mid and higher priced homes.

White Oaks, in Lowertown, Schull, was initially placed on the market for €550,000 but the price has now been dropped to €490,000.

The home, which was built 10 years ago, is fitted out to a high standard. It is situated a mile and a half from Schull village.

Sitting on 1.5 acres, the four bedroom property would be an ideal family home, according to auctioneer Martin Swanton.
