THE silly season is over, so maybe the story that Bertie might have gone a bungalow bidding against Bill Clinton on this Kerry home will have to wait 'til next Summer... but then again that period just might give enough time for Bertie and Celia to slip in the back door and pick up this waterside retreat from under Bill's nose.

Set on the water's edge by Rossdohan, one of the most beautiful stretches on the Ring of Kerry, this house just up for sale is only a couple of miles from Parknasilla, where Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and partner Celia Larkin regularly holiday. It is also close to where actor and footballer and Vinnie Jones has built a huge new home.

It is known that there has been correspondence between An Taoiseach's office and estate agent Dominic Daly who is selling the house for a US owner - though just who initiated the correspondence remains unclarified.
