Top-of-the-range Grange Manor homes ready in booming Ballincollig
Both schemes bookend the rise and rise of the western suburban town.
Grange Manor is at the tail end of its building life, with around 40 houses left to go, while 'Old Quarter, with a total of 800 houses in a number of different schemes, is just at the beginning.
And in the middle there's the odd stray - number 12, Grange Lawn, Grange Manor, which is brand new, but back on the market through TJ Cronin of Irish and European.
With the distinctive yellow colour and high pitched roof design of the rest of the estate, this is a top-of-the-range, four-bedroom unit carrying a guide price of €400,000.
Number 12 has a corner site, is very well finished inside and comes with wooden floors, tiling, a fitted kitchen and even curtains and blinds.
Grange Manor is 10 minutes to town on the new bypass road, in good traffic, and the new shopping centre at Ballincollig should provide a wealth of consumer choice when it opens later this year.
The area is burgeoning and with the new road, is also very accessible.
Suzanna Keating of Irish and European will be selling a range of two and three bedroomed units in Grange Manor shortly.
They start at €214,000 for a two-bedroomed townhouse, €246,950 for the three bedroomed type, and one or two of the four bedroomed detached properties are still to be confirmed, she says.
