Monastery has leisure potential

The sale to Cork developer Barry Supple, revealed exclusively in last week's Irish Examiner, paves the way for a significant development on its c 200 acres of prime East Cork land, with landmark historic property at its centre.

A spokesperson for John F Supple this week confirmed the sale had been secured, believed to be for close to 4 million.
