Second chance to secure ideal family home

BACK on the market after a previous “sale agreed”, 47 Forest Ridge in Cork has viewers coming back through the doors.

Second chance to secure ideal family home

Hitting such a sales barrier can sometimes prove a serious hurdle for vendors: it can be hard to rekindle enthusiasm and market interest.

Fortunately for the vendors of 47, interest came back immediately once would-be purchasers realised the property was back for sale for a genuine reason.

“It’s such a good location for rental and family occupation alike,” explains estate agent Ann O’Mahony of Sherry FitzGerald, who still guides the house at its initial €295,000 level.

Built in the early 1990s, Forest Ridge is at Doughcloyne, between Wilton and Togher in Cork city, with the city’s traffic artery, the ring road, a few hundred yards away, and the expanded Wilton Shopping Centre and University Hospital a short walk away.

The semi-detached property has 1,250 sq ft of internal space, and has a front drive and garden and a walled-in garden to the back.

There are inter-connecting ground floor reception rooms, each with fireplaces (one with a gas insert) and a deep, front-to-back kitchen/dining room, with three overhead bedrooms which have built-ins, plus bathroom.
