The revised price is quoted now at €550,000 by joint agents Robert O’Keeffe of Irish and European, and Woodwards, and is a welcome reduction for possible buyers from the initially targeted €650/€700,000 level.

The location near the suspension Shaky Bridge, aspect and views are all superb. But, to capitalise fully on it, new owners might seek to invest further on the sunny riverside aspect, with a first floor balcony or glazed extension a tempting possibility, if not a more radical architectural intervention - subject to planning permission.
