Attractive B&B may have double appeal for buyer

WILL the attractions of Attracta House prise it out of B&B usage and bed it back down into private living quarters?

Attractive B&B may have double appeal for buyer

The refurbished three-storey and seven bedroomed house in on the water's edge in Youghal in East Cork, with side access to its rear gardens. It is just on the main road into the town coming from Cork city, and the through-road divides to embrace the old walled and port town.

It is semi-detached and virtually town centre, but setting it apart according to its selling agent Property Partners Burke Wall is the water access and rear parking: "you can literally fish or launch a boat from the back garden," they say.

Initially offered as a going concern B&B, they feel there will be as strong an interest in it now heading into the New Year, possibly as a large family home. Price guide is €450,000, which puts it well into the trading up category locally.

It is near a Blue Flag beach, the golf club, shops, bars, restaurant and every other local amenity and service, while the town's retail profile has been boosted recently with the arrival of both Lidl and Tesco.

Rooms include hall, seven ensuite bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room, dining room, bathroom, utility and a cellar room.
