A SHINY new face has been put on Cork’s estate agency offices, with a high-profile auctioneering office relocation setting a quality marker for other firms to follow.

Sherry FitzGerald's move to 6 Lapps Quay marks the shift from the traditional South Mall commercial heartland to what is a newly emerged city business district, with law and accountancy firms following suit.

Offices developments and new buildings are coming on stream at and behind Cork City Hall on Albert Quay, Anglesea Street, Lapps Quay, Parnell Place and Anderson's Quay indicating a rapid diversification in locations for so-called 'third-generation' facilities.
