IT’S daffodil time of the year - and one of a bunch of 50-plus houses at Daffodil Fields in Ballincollig is up for sale.

This scheme was built about five years ago at the city end of Ballincollig, in the daffodil-strewn field of a country farmhouse now surrounded by suburbia at the end of the Model Farm Road/Carrigrohane.

It was probably the first forray by builder John Fleming of Fleming Construction into Cork city, as part of a company H&F Construction: since then Flemings has become one of the fastest growing and diverse construction and development firms in Munster.
