Six new townhouses with river views to be built in Lismore

IT’S surprising that, in the Celtic Tiger boom, a town as historic and pretty as Lismore isn’t swamped with holiday home developments.

A walk through the main street lets the visitor travel back 50 years shops fronts haven’t changed much and individual merchants still hold sway, although there is a supermarket in the town.

Sophisticated restaurants and pubs hide behind typical Irish shop fronts - with the wow factor left entirely to the massive bastion that is Lismore Castle.
